    First Lady of Zimbabwe accused for assaulting a South African model

    Grace Mugabe, Zimbabwe's first lady has been accused of beating up a South African model in a hotel in Johannesburg leaving her
    with some serious injuries.

     Gabriella Engels, the 20-year old model, posted a picture of the alleged assault on her Twitter page on Monday evening saying she was beaten up with her 2 friends in her hotel room in Johannesburg after one of President Mugabe’s sons ran away and the other was taken out of the room.

    “Bellarmine ran away and Rob Jnr was put out of the hotel room. so my two friends and I were beaten up mercilessly by more than 10 men in our room,” Gabriella tweeted with references to Mrs. Grace Mugabe’s bodyguards.

    She said that Mugabe's wife, “split my head open in three different places. With an extension cord and used the plug to beat me,” she explained with pictures that show deep cuts on her forehead.


    While Gabriella, the model was tweeting her version of her story, President Mugabe’s party Zanu-PF also posted her picture saying she rather attacked the Zimbabwean first lady.

    “We can very well confirm if this is one of those perpetrators who attacked comrade Grace Mugabe. Be careful comrades,” they tweeted.

    Till now, No official statement has been made concerning the incident but the management of the Hotel in Johannesburg has confirmed to local media that there was an incident in the hotel without naming anyone.

    But Gabriella Engels had denied sleeping in the hotel room with Mugabe’s sons and also threatened to seek justice for Mrs. Mugabe's alleged assault.



    Mugabe's two sons, Chatunga Bellarmine Mugabe and  Robert Peter Mugabe Jnr are known for organizing parties and living in luxury apartments around the world.

     Bellarmine and Mugabe Jnr were evicted from their apartment in Dubai and also thrown out from their Johannesburg apartment for causing several disturbances including an alleged brawl

    They're currently studying at the University of Johannesburg in South Africa.
