    Photos: Exciting Colours & tradition combines with politics as Ghana swears in 5th President of the 4th republic



     The Black Star Square in the capital of Ghana hosted another historic event in the political landscape of Ghana and Africa at large, The Swearing-in ceremony of Ghana’s
    newly elected president, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, and his vice, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia saw a great display of Ghanaian exciting colors and tradition.

    Akufo-Addo led
    the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the December 7 polls, defeating the then incumbent John Dramani Mahama of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

    A large number of people converged from all walks of life to witness the event. Also present were former presidents across the continent, top diplomats and government representatives and ordinary members of the Ghanaian public not to forget the huge representation of the media.
