The Camp Nou miracle; 6 takeaways from that incredible and historic comebacks
Barcelona completed one of the most incredible comebacks in the history of the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday at the Camp Nou, by scoring 3 goals in the final ten minutes to beat Paris Saint Germain 6-1 on the night and 6-5 on aggregate to qualify into the quarterfinals of the competition.
Barcelona pulled off the impossible. They become the first team ever in the history of the competition to come back from a 4-goal first leg deficit, and they made it possible in the most dramatic way.The 95th minute goal from Sergi Roberto secured the greatest comeback in UEFA Champions League history, but what were some of the lessons learnt from the match that will never be forgotten?
Barcelona's MSN trio got their names on the scoresheet, and all three were dangerous throughout the game. Messi was fantastic, but it was Neymar who really carried the day.
He did well against PSG at Parc De Princes in the first leg, and he was absolutely brilliant in the second league too, scoring two goals and assisting Sergi Roberto's incredible last-minute winner.
2. Barcelona's midfielders were up to the trask.
Midfield has been a big problem for Barcelona
recently. Barca was completely outclassed in the first leg away to PSG,
but that wasn't the case in the home leg. Busquets controlled
the middle of the field, Iniesta created quiet a number of goal-scoring chances, and Rakitic also announced his presence on the field.
Suarez, Neymar and Messi got the goals, but it was the midfield that helped spark that sensational comeback for the catalans, and they were miles better than their showing in the first leg.

3. Barcelona still need solutions at right back
Since the absence of Daniel Alves, Barca haven't had a real solution at the right-back position. Sergi Roberto
filled in admirably, and Aleix Vidal looks like he can be a great player going forward before his injury ruled him out for the rest of the
season.
Luis Enrique used Rafinha against PSG, but he did not impress the coach. The right back continues to be a headache for Barcelona and it is something that they will struggle to figure out in the future.

4. PSG were afraid at Camp Nou
Barca with the mentality to win against PSG, and the visitors looked completely unprepared for the battle. They were very poor at the back, and the midfield wasn't different.
PSG kept all eleven (11) players behind the ball, but it did not matter with the abysmal performance in defense and their inability to possess the ball when they finally did win it back.
5. PSG's midfield was a shadow of itself from the first encounter
Their midfield was incredible in the first encounter in Paris. They made Barca look like pedestrians on the field, and they outworked, outran, and even out-skilled the Catalans at home in Paris.
However, during the return leg, they were just a shadow of themselves. The energy and the technical ability all disappeared, and their midfield looked as if they have never played together before.
6. Edinson Cavani did his job but that didn't matter
Cavani is an incredible striker, but his wastefulness in front of the goal is no secret. His work rate is incredible, his movement with the ball means he gets more chances than most of the other strikers, but he's known for missing most of these clear-cut chances.
Against Barcelona at Camp Nou, he got one real clear cut chance yet he fail to score. It should have been the winner, but it just wasn't to be.
