    Zimbabwe is the 2nd most developed country in Africa after South Africa - Mugabe

     Robert Mugabe, the President of Zimbabwe was the point of attraction at the ongoing World Economic Forum on Africa in Durban, South Africa
    .
    During the plenary session, the ill-looking Zimbabwean leader denied the assertion that his country was in a fragile state.
    “It is not fair to describe Zimbabwe as a "fragile state" Yes is true that we have our own problems but certainly we have also achieved a lot… we have our resources, and perhaps enough resources than the average country in the world”



    President Mugabe went further to add that the Zimbabwe is one of the "most developed" countries on the continent. “Zimbabwe cannot be described as a fragile state, it is one of the most highly developed countries in Africa, maybe second after South Africa,” Mugabe said.
    The 93-year old Zimbabwean leader has been criticized for sinking one of Africa’s most promising economies and causing unemployment to rise to almost 80%.
    Despite all the protests, Robert Mugabe is has been given the green light to lead the ZANU-PF political party as its candidate for the 2018 presidential election when he will be 94 years.
